DDR2 SLI Board?

My buddy is upset with his piss poor amd/sli performance so hes moving over to intel. I was thinking a board with the 780i chipset would be the best he could do without going to DDR3. What boards do you guys recommend? Hell be pairing it with an e6600 that can hit 3.8ghz

the new eVGA 750i SLI FTW might also be an option, look in the forum reviews section , board seems to be a screamer too and is a souped up version of the normal 750i SLI version...

But if that isn't his thing 780i is a good choice...
