Ok, so I ordered a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L and later relized it (ICH9) does not support RAID. Now Im looking for a motherboard that has RAID support and is loaded with overclocking options for under $170.

I have been looking at the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P and it looks like a great board. Anybody have this one? Should I stick with a P35 board or go to something else for this price? What else would you recommend me the best motherboard for under $170? Thanks!

There is so many to choose from...

Pretty sure all P35 boards support raid. It's not true hardware raid but it is raid nonetheless. I run a raid 0 on my DFI P35 board but it also supports raid 1, 5, and 1+0 I believe.

From what I gathered the ICH9R Southbridge does and the ICH9 doesnt whether its true hardware RAID or not.

for under 170, id say the IP35 Pro would be a good choice for an E8400. Not the greatest for quads but for duals its excellent.
