:D Pack date is 2008/March/21 - so this chip has been a long time at the Intel labs before coming into the retail channels...! Why? Don't know, but I made a first quick test with relaxed ram timings and 5:8 divider:

:D Though this batch was completely unknown it is not only a nice low-voltage runner, it also seems to be capable of hi FSB.

Just found my 24/7 settings:yepp: :

:D Haha..., yep - the QX was fantastic but a bit boring to run always <450 FSB:( . So I sold it for the price I payed for it :p:. Now playing with hi FSB.

I hope this is more of a regular thing to come. Where did you get your chip from?

Sell it to me Camouflage , already had 2 E8400 and now the 8500 I quickly tested is also not a 4ghz one below 1.3v level... bummer

What is the highest OC you can achieve with 12+ hours of Prime stability, and at what Vcore?

;) Wall at 550 - think it's the chip, not the board but I'm not sure.

I seemed to have got a good E8400 now Q805A (Vid 1.0750), does 3.6ghz at 1.09volt, hope to get to 4ghz under 1.25 (should be doable) or lower... priming away under air now till I get it under water again...
