I thought you just plug this chip into the slot but after I got it, it doesn't seem that way.

how do I install the bios chip on an IP35 Pro?

This is relatively easy, especially if you have the handy tool;)

Power down the board, pull the chip out carefully noting which way it was inserted (it will only go in one way, will save you hassle if you try and jam it in there). Insert new BIOS chip carefully ensuring it is seated well. You may need to do a jumper reset in some cases. Power up and you are good to go.
