Anyone knows an online shop where such displays could be ordered?
I knew of one recently cause I fol owed up on a guys work log, but cant find it anywhere now! It was like 165$ or something...
He used it in his case mod. Even had a youtube of the build...
I was thinking of putting it in 2x5,25 space.
Please HELP!
How about 7" :(

Well shoot!
I found the LCD in question, BUT it's not touch screen.

It was used by a guy named KasuCode in his build.
All touchscreen choices I found so far are these:www.lcdtft.com/ (http://www.lcdtft.com/search_result.asp?CATEGORY=Commercial-Industrial%20Touch%20Screen%20LCD%20Monitors)
7" would be awesome but it wont fit in 2x5.25" :/
Anybody knows of any other good source for small touchscreens
My favorite small lcd source for projects is earth lcd:
http://store.earthlcd.com/
They have a 7" touchscreen for under $300:
7.8" color touchscreen (http://store.earthlcd.com/OF-78-AD3-OF78AD3?sc=7&category=225)
biftek.

I see now that there are almost no choices in this particular category.
A wide 6" would probably be the sweet-spot.
7" is to big in all regards and would require a lot on mods. Which in itself can be done of course :)
3.5" is a bit to small touchscreen usability for desktop extension.
And 5" is not a touchscreen and I thing the module itself would MAYBE fit in the space allotted.
I found like 4.6" touch. But those are mostly sold in GPSs and only as a bare component.
I guess the right time is not yet here... But maybe something else dawns on me. :)
