I just got these headphones and they're a great improvement over my SENNHEISER HD555. The improvement is so significant I think I'm coming down with a mild case of audiophile.

I'm using Creative's X-FI XtremeGamer card, never had a problem with drivers and I am running Vista64.

My question is, what do I do now to improve my listening experience? I'm not interested in modding my soundcard so is there anything else I can do to improve my experience.

not interested in modding? get an auzentech, its the same effect as the auzentech comes with diff opamps and resistors

also i would look into getting an amp.. headfi is a great forum on this kind of stuff

First would be to swap out the opamp with something better. ad8066 and ad8620 work well, nice and fast.

Next would be to get a headphone amp. The denons benefit quite a bit from one.
