Heres my new case that tom has modded for me to start a new build for myself.

Orange powdercoat:drool:

2 X Thermochill PA 120.2 rads and the option to install a 120.1 if needed

2 loops will be run in it.

1/ Cpu on its own
2/ Mosfet/northbridge and southbridge,maybe the videocard

Mods done by Tom @ Chilled Pc

Top window panel cut out the middle section to make it one big window, was going to fit dark plexi on there but now i think i`ll get some more mesh and maybe fit 2 120mm fans blowing onto the motherboard.

Both side panel have a mesh grill cutout to help with air flo, fitted with dome head black screws.

Rear panel has had the top rear rad barb holes cut bigger so that i can mount the fan inside the case for the rear rad.

On the rear lower 120mm fan hole ive had holes cut to take a 120.1 rad if i feel the need for it.

Power button is being replaced with a black bulgin with orange led ring.

Fans are Ultra Kaze 2000rpm :scared: 38mm and they look the dogs, wires will be braided black.

Thats it for now.

I would like to thank Tom for the excellent work he has done for me on this case,as its rare that a shop will go above and beyond for their customers like tom has.

Thanks mate ;)

Hi, does anyone know if any of these heatsinks fit in this case?

-OCZ Vendetta 2
-TRUE
-Thermalright ifx 14
-Noctua NH-U12P

Im planning on ordering an H2GO, but i want to go with an air cooling setup first then change to water cooling, but im not sure if any of these heatsinks will fit. So basically i was thinking about getting a thermalright si 128 se and lapping the base for the moment.

You have 17.8cm from the motherboard tray to the top of the case if that helps.

Small update as im waiting on some mesh coming for the top panel.

Rear rad fitted with the Ultra Kraze 2000s to the inside with black wire grills, had to file the barb holes a bit to get them to match up to the case.

Got some XSPC 1/2" Hose to put in the loops, room is tight in this case as its quite small.

Small update got some mesh for the top panel, was going to get plexi but im going with mesh as it will let heat out,had to buy silver as black was not in stock this will be no problem as i can spray it black later :)

Cut 2 holes for the Fillports.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/clone38/Picture001-8.jpg

Was toying with the idea to have a 120mm fan mounted in the top panel to blow cool air over the motherboard e.t.c good idea or bad??

I think that top fan blowing out or onto the mother board is a good idea. Is there any way you could mount it without using a filter or cutting that mesh? The mesh looks really good and I think cutting a hole in it or having that filter there would ruin the look. Maybe put a 140mm under there? :D

clone38
04-15-2008, 11:44 AM
Im not going to have the fan now as it will spoil the look of the top panel i think,i could mount the fan under the mesh if i wanted, not sure tbh.

Good idea on keeping that mesh intact as it is.

Some more work done today :)

Mesh now installed instead of plexi window, and top silver mesh sprayed black to match the rest of the case panels.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/clone38/Picture008-3.jpg

Fan filters fitted now and black bulgin with orange led ring
Had to fill the brive bays with a MM plexi plate to clean up the front.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/clone38/Picture007-2.jpg

Rear rad with filters.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/clone38/Picture003-7.jpg

I can use my black tygon hose for the build.

Wee update changed the grill`s to Thermochill with mesh on the back sprayed black, also changed the way the lower fans work now to help cool the pumps down the rear blows air in and the front fan sucks air out.

Also fitted some Lian li mesh drive blanking plates.

ohh awesome !!!

thanks, IMO i think that looks better?

also i can't mount a MCR220 straight to the case right?

also what screws did you use to mount those beefy 38mm fans?

clone38
04-28-2008, 10:10 AM
You can mount the MCR220 in the case but only one fan will match up to the hole as these case`s are cut to fit thermochill rads, only meens the other fan will hang over the fanhole but thats no biggy.

Fan screw got them from a model shop in the UK.

NoobCake
04-29-2008, 03:40 AM
ok thanks for that..

May i ask would you be happy if i did the same to what you did to the front of your H2GO? Im thinking of doing the same thing, love the work there.

Also regarding your grill, AC Ryan say they only fit HW Labs rad and swiftech but how the hell did you get it on thermochills? ALso is that mesh under those grills? did you just put a mesh under there?

:)

I had the same thing with my duality,.

and i didn't want to spend $$$$ buying PA 120.3 thermochill
when i already had brand new swiftech 120.3's

My radiators are mounted horizontal

So I mounted the 4 side fans difectly to the blow holes
then i mounted the center with a long bolt thru the fan
and into the radiator like usual.

Worked like a charm.

Also used velcro to help support the radiators,
but just the center mounting was fine
