Hi,
I just broke off a little cap off the backside of my good old geforce 4 ti 4200 64MB by accident. Now I have the problem that the card is still working fine, but showing some artifacting due to the broke off SMD cap.
The cap was a little brown smd capacitor directly on the backside of the GPU. Fortunately it is really fixable, as it's one of the caps on the outer side, so no biggie to resolder in on.
But, I don't know the capacity of the small thing. How can one read the capacity of such a small SMD cap??? I think it's a cap in the 0603 package, so it should be 1,6mm long and 0,8mm wide (the smallest available caps).
Any help's appreciated!
Thx in advance!
