View Full Version : raid0 /pc reboots question
just a question, ive set up two 74gb raptors in raid0 , seems to work fine. but .... i installed sandra and ran the analysis tool , and it shut my system down ,totally made my system reboot. i reinstalled sandra , ran the analysis tool and it did it again.
this happend with another program earlier as well.
im wondering if its becuase of using raid0 , maybe errors cause my drives to reboot my system ? is that possible?

hmm not sure as i just installed this motherboard. its all at stock volts though , havnt overclocked yet.
i installed the latest version from guru 3d.
kind of weird that it shuts my system down though, usually ,software freezes with errors or closes down , but ive never had it shut my whole system off?
about the voltages though, would software like sandra require extra voltage? it did run my cpu on 100% or anything it just ran the analysis tool.

and ive found that i had to bump my sb up 1-2 notches
thanks zanzabar, im downloading it now.
hopefully it will fix the issue.
im about to start overclocking this board now , so ill prolly be increasing voltages anyway. ill see how it goes. thanks
