What do you guys think. Cooler Master Stacker 830, Antec P182, or other? Price isn't a huge concern as long as what I'm paying for is quality and easy to work with. Some things going inside are: Asus P5E X38, E8400, 8800gts 512MB, Corsair 620HX, Tuniq Tower 120, G.Skill 2x2GB 1000MHz, and Western Digital 640GB Hard Drive.

For your rig Akasa Eclipse/Mirage 62 will do an excellent job.

Stacker all the way. Best case I've ever owned. Makes my old antec 900 look like something you'd purchase at a dollar store.

Ive read some very positive reviews of both but personaly id get the P182... looks very sleak and good airflow, not saying the stacker doesnt tho.

I'm loving my Silverstone TJ-09... it keeps everything very cool on air and has the potential to convert to water if required...

anyone recommend any good 120mm fans for the stacker? I was looking at these: Scythe (http://www.heatsinkfactory.com/scythe-slip-stream-120mm-fan-sy1225sl12m.html)

is 24dba loud

Edit:Any of you guys ever upgrade from mid to full tower. If so, was there a huge difference in height?

You should base your decision primarily on how big of a case you want. You need to keep in mind that the Stacker is a full tower case and it's huge at that. If you're planning to install a watercooling setup inside the case then a lot of people like going with a full tower or extended ATX case for that reason but if you're just doing aircooling I personally would stick with a mid-tower that only has 120mm or larger fans since you don't need no full tower case to house that hardware you listed. The Lian-Li A17 is a good case and so is the Antec P182 series.

Any other mid towers you would suggest? know of any good ones with side windows?

I'm kinda looking at some different cases now myself because I'm considering building a new high-end system. I never have really cared much for full towers because to me they're just kinda ugly since they're so huge and akward to move around. My case also sits on top of my long desk so I have to sit and look at the behemoth all day lol. I wish they would come out with some slimmer profile cases that are thicker aluminum and real sexy sorta like the MacBook Pro chassis with it's thick rounded aluminum. I like Lian-Li pretty well but most of their recent cases are rather plain and nothing that attractive really. I like the Lian-Li V series and you can get a window for those but unless you go with the V2000 you're stuck with the issue of not having a lot of room around the CPU for a large heatsink with the V1000. The V1000 could use a little better cooling too.

If i were to get a case where the psu is on the bottom. I should probably get one where there is a board above the psu like there is on the p182.

I like the new v1000z update that will be coming out soon. They made some nice changes and now that it's a standard ATX design instead of reversed you don't have to worry about the heatpipe cooling on your motherboard or the fact a large CPU heatsink like the Thermalright Ultra 120 won't fit in the regular V1000 if the CPU socket is close to the top of the board.

I have no complaints with my P182. Great airflow, easy wire management, and I like the clean look. Currently have a Q6600 at 3.8 running WCG 24/7, TRUE with 2 yates in push/pull, temps stay in the low 60's.

I'd go full tower even with Air. I use one with Air and prefer it to a smaller tower. I'll never go back to a smaller tower.

You could always take off the wheels yourself...

yea im kind of leaning towards the stacker but if i were to get a mid tower. would the p182 be the best choice?
