When i boot up my computer i get the message
"Second slave is bad, please backup and replace"
"Press F1 to resume"
And so i do.
Computer working fine, a diagnosis tool told me that it was a seek error on one of the harddiske, not sure which one it is though since it's 2 of the same.
Should i replace it?

you should absolutely replace the hard drive. i have SMART enabled and trust it to warn me before failure. hard drives don't last forever and lost data is a pain in the butt.
If smart says something then I guess the HD's gone really bad. I've had 2 drives fail without smart telling me anything at all :(
Both Maxtor maxline 2 250gb. You should definetly run your brand's HD diagnostics program to see what it says. In my case Maxtor's tool told me the drive was failing and a couple of days later it was completely died

Just checked SeaTools, and according to SeaTools it passed SMART test...
Weird ...
can you try it on another mobo to see if smart fails there as well?
