Laid out on the test bench are the following:-
Asus Maximus Formula SE
QX9650
4 gig Corsair CM2X1024-8500C5D
Asus 3870X2
4 Raptor 74's
1 X WD800
and arrived this morning:-
Asus Blu-Ray (their spelling) BC-1205PT combo DVD CD drive.
I wish to use the 4 Raptors in 0 RAID....but no go....once I change the SATA configuration in BIOS to RAID, the optical drive refuses to post the windows setup. (Windows XP 32 bit).
It will show me the windows setup if I change back to IDE.
Anyone come across this before........and any suggestions? I have changed the input of the optical drive sata imput to each of the 6 onboard outlets.
