Looking for shorter profile, SATA DVD-RW drive.

I am looking for a SATA DVD-RW drive that is not as long as a standard optical drive. I only have one bay that I can put this drive in, and my radiator bumps into it with about two centimeters left to go before the drive is flush with the front of the case. So, this is why I need a shorter drive. I'm fairly sure some manufacturers have made shorter drives, I just don't recall who. Any help would be appreciated.

i dont have one now, but its 2" shorter than the nec drives, and i think that pionears are even shorter


or did u wnat low profile, i dont know of any low profile sata

All the DVD drives i've seen lately are all the same length :confused:
LG, Pioneer, Lite-on even Sony. My LG Blu-ray is about 2cm longer though.

Samsung arrived... Unfortunately it's the same length as my current Sony cd-burner that could not fit. :( Need another option.

Just a tad bigger than the disc ( ~6.69" )
