Running a Mirc Channel ?

I want to run a private MIRC channel for me and my friends . How would I go about doing this? and by having my own channel can I kick people from the channel ?

Do you want to run your own server or just run a channel on an already existing server?

If you want your own server you will need software and dedicated machine.

If you want the latter you will need to register the channel with chanserv. How to do this will depend on the network you choose as they all have slightly different rules. A machine to run a dedicated bot is sometimes a good idea depending on the rules of the network.

Yes you will be able to kick/ban/mode users if you are an owner/moderator/half-op of the channel (software dependent).
