I've just installed a new system using a QX9650. While my custom phase cooler worked fine on my previous core2 E6700, for which the unit was tuned to - it is not coping with the load of the quad core when all 4 cores are running flat out on Prime95.
My unit consists of:
NL11F Compressor
Chilly1 Condensor (also Chilly1 Evap, Cap Tube and suction)
R402a gas
When running on the E6700, idle temps from the compressor head were reading as -60C (using the original Asetek probe) and this would increase by around 5C under full load. Running on the QX9650 is of course another matter. With the VCore at 1.45v , under full load the temp rises from idle at -55C to -45C and then will slowly keep rising to +temps! :(
Is there anyone in the UK - Berkshire/Reading area that would be able to retune my unit for the QX9650?
