CM690 is $60 and has great cooling. There aren't a lot of options in the under $50 price range.

The Cooler Master 590 is also a good choice. You really can't go wrong with either, but imo the question of which is better is a matter of opinion, because the two are quite similar.

I recommend the CM Centurion 5 w/ or w/o side window.

Most sub $50 cases are cheap and older style cases that use only 80mm fans. Most often you only have a single front and single rear fan. The great thing about those cheaper cases is the fact that they are cheap. With the money you save you can buy the fans you need to mod that case to suit your needs. Fan holes can always be cut bigger. You can also easily ad your own bottom and top fan holes.

CM690 another vote.
much better than the Centurion line, I have both...
just remember to buy extra 120mm fans if you go with the cm690, it only comes with 3 and holds like 7..

590 is around 50$ at newegg right now. It does use the 4in3 HD cages which really suck.
Edit, 690 owner hear and love it. Great case.

Shipping will average about $20 for cases. Thats just the way it is. Unless the site offers free shipping.

on cheap cases... I've added 2 Q6600 dedicated budget folders to my fah farm recently.. and one method that works is use NE's free shipping + rebate searches... here's all the cases that have free shipping and a rebate now..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010090007+4808+4801&name=Mail+In+Rebate
my last Q6600 build (2 weeks ago) got this case for $35 after mir/free shipping...

I'm using a scythe mugen Q6600 380x9 folding 56c.
it only has a rear 120mm and the scythe hsf 120mm... the little 80mm on the side doesn't fit with big hsfs and it's inadequate anyway... so I unscrewed the side galss to run open, and mounted a active 120 on the bottom blowing on the mobo. it's not the best looking deal, but for $35 and free shipping it makes a nice little solution for a cheap case and a perfect solution for a budget 4200ppd fah folder...

anyway, point being if you wanna save money, there's a lot of deals you can make work. but if you want a nice case I'd rec a CM 690, that's what my main pc, another Q6600 sits in... with 6 120mm's and a true 120, that's a great case for the money..
