Hey all.

I purchased Dell All-in-One printer 948, which is their newest model for consumer market, for 149CAD. The printer was shipped a day after I placed the order and arrived at my home in a day (2 days total).

So far so good...

The same day I bought the printer, I also placed an order for printer ink. My orders were placed on 1st of March.
Look at my attachment now.
Well..., what am I going to do now? My ink had run out for over a week now.

No really, Dell does sell ink. It's probably out of stock.

It might be possible to find a lexmark equivalent cartridge, last I knew of, Dell's OEM was still Lexmark. That may have changed now, however.

Even that their printers are made by lexmark a several years ago Dell had lexmark produce a proprietary Dell brand that only used ink cartridges from Dell they(switched a few contact terminals around) .

Even that they ship for free and price is not bad,it pissed a lot of people off when the ran out of ink and had to wait 2 to 4 days. Now Staples ,best buy and a few others sell Dell ink.

I have a old Z52 printer from dell that will use lexmark ink. But a 942 my sister gave me for christmas a few years ago doesn't.
