KOSS SB-40 sounds bad with xtreme music ?

bought koss sb-40 . i have it plugged into xtreme music card . doesn't have any sort of bass . all treble and very bad sound . music sounds very bad .

What are your settings in the Audio Console?

Do the headphones sound any better with a different source?

Go to the THX panel and press bass redirection,should fix the lack of bass.

ok guys problem solved . i had not installed the software on the cd . only the latest drivers from the website which do not contain the blue and white panel . only windows style default panel was available which lacks the bass and treble functions .
