Another Mountain Mods Case ...

Just wanted to say that I've ordered my second Mountain Mods case, and I continue to be impressed with the company. I ordered the CYO option last weekend, and it arrived Friday. Opened up the box today and saw that the front panel was actually the black crinkle coat, and not the anodized black finish I had ordered.

Sent an email to MM, and heard back within an hour (on Saturday morning!). They apologized for the mistake (and I can understand how it can happen, given the flexibility in the CYO options). Everything is taken care of, and they are shipping the new panel out.

I'll post pics in the Liquid Cooling section when I start my build, but have to say, the black anodized finished is very nice ... looks just as good as the Silverstone and Lian Li anodized cases.

Oh nice, I've been waiting to see someone who had the anodized versions. I'm looking forward to another good build by you. Are you building a new 2nd pc or moving some of your components over?

The anodized finish definitely exceeded my expectations. This is a new PC, with all new parts (My first Pink&Blue MM build is still pumping away).

Yep, the anodized looks really nice, and it holds up against scratches a lot better than the powdercoat. My UFO is in the anodized black and I love it.

I had actually ordered the standard powdercoated shiny black, but Ben (I think it was) called me (on a Saturday morning no less) and let me know they had run into a back-order issue and I could either wait for the powdercoat stock to be refilled or switch over to the anodized. Being impatient for my new case, I switched. I'm very glad I did now. The anodized finish lacks a little of the ultra-shiny bling, but I also get to go "fingerprints? what fingerprints?" :)
