So anyhow, in my previous post about my board/graphics card not booting. Upon further inspection and advice from here, turns out the 8800gt works fine but the board needs to be sent back for an rma.

Well I don't like when boards die and even worse, I hate writing on my laptop..
So I'm going to fleebay my p35ds3r and pick up another motherboard to watercool.
Since I want a high fsb and stability, it has to be something decent. I was looking at two boards specifically. P35c was able to push my xeon 3210 to a stable 3520mhz (440 fsb)

The two I am looking at are both DFI
DFI LP LT P35 T2R P35 $179

DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS P35 $139

Is the $179 overkill?.. I'm only using 1 8800gt card and to be honest, I'm not sure 1394 and bertstein sound card is worth $40 for me.

Anyhow I'm pretty sure I can throw a mcw30 on the sb, but what about the nb and mosfet?
I don't want to hear that nb/sb watercooling is overkill, because with 4 radiators, 3 pumps, a dd hardrive block, 2 aqua pc ram coolers, ek resevoir, and 3 loops, it's too late for me at this point ;)

I have heard reports that the cheaper DK isn't all that great. Some guy wasn't able to run his Cellshock and G.SKill RAM as fast as on his GB DS3R (link (http://www.awardfabrik.de/forum/showthread.php?t=2903&page=2)(in German though)). On the other hand, it's faster than an Asus P5k-E: link (http://www.awardfabrik.de/forum/showpost.php?p=119351&postcount=61)
The LT is pretty much among the best overclockers out there. If you don't need Crossfire, then the X38/X48 boards aren't really better.
If you decide to get the DK, here are the measurements for watercoolers:
