me and my striker again, i held off ordering since the block you guys suggested was out of stock, but i need to know now the hole spacing on the striker II formula so i know if could use universal blocks (like this one: http://www.petrastechshop.com/dadenma4chwa.html)

and on another note
Which would be best for the sb?
this:

pls dont say "oh, none of those cover the bridge chip", i know they dont, iv got something else to cool the chip.

ok im confused.

you have a striker right? why not measure it yourself? not b/c i dont want to help you but just curious.

btw the universal block will fit

the SB appears to be standards spacing, nothing funky this should work for it
id suggest it over your chooses, not to sure about the thermalright

I have used the vcr-e on my 680i and it worked very well.
If you are serious about watercooling, put a waterblock on it ;)

Honestly, I'm sure many here will disagree with me, and I'm certainly not trying to force my opinion on anyone, just offering it, but...

I've always seen watercooling the NB/SB/whathaveyou as a waste of time and money. I mean, for less money you can get some really nice copper heatsinks and throw some little low speed fans on. It won't cool AS well as water, but you really don't need that much cooling on the motherboard except for really xtreme overclocking.

I guess I just hate the idea of dumping more heat + money into a loop, for something that... Will most likely never be useful.

Just my 2cents. Of course there are exceptions here, but in general, I stick by my opinion :D

yes striker and im leaving in 5min to Venezuela for a race so i dont have the time, yes, wc on the sb is overkill and i dont want to do that so what would be the best for the sb?
and yey, ill use the dd uni then
EDIT: yes i did measure it but i just wanted to verify
