I'm going to upgrade my watercooling system. What I have now is in my sig.
I got a new case, a Stacker T01, so there should be enough room. :)
I want to watercool the 2 8800's, but I'm not sure what would be the best way to go.
A full cover block(EK) or some thing like the MCW60.
Is there much difference in performance?
For now I would like to keep it in one loop. Maybe replace the PA120.2 for a PA120.3 or use both.
And what would be the best way to watercool the NB and SB? I would like to use the middle PCI-E slot too, but the card in that one doesn't have much clearance over the stock SB cooler.
Last time I had my Apogee GTX of the CPU, I found a little dent in the top of the CPU and in the GTX.
Looks like there has been a small, hard piece of something in the thermal paste. The size of a grain of sand.
Maybe relapping the CPU will get most out of that. But what can I do with the GTX? The temps are still OK.
I'm going to that that apart soon, to install the Copper top. So this is the right time to do something about it.
