What kind of a rad would I need to get to get such a processor at 45C MAX LOAD...? No GPU in loop...
What would I need to for a 2.8GHz Phenom?

/Bump... No one knoes? Would a MCR220 be adequate for such a build then?

That Swifty rad may do the job and can operate well on low CFM fans.
I'm running a 6000+ that I can clock to 3.553 and its cooled on a CPU only loop with a D-Tek Fuzion w/5.5 nozzle, Black Ice Extreme 240 Rad. with 2 141CFM delta fans, a Swiftech MCP355 w/petra's top. On a cool day with the window opened it does not climb above 29c loaded.

Those are some crazy temps... Black Ice Extreme is a lot better than MCR220 though...

would recommend a MCR320, but a 220 will do it. I held a heavily overclocked 3500+ and then its successor, a 3600x2, around that with just a BI Stealth GT and 2 CoolerMaster white LED fans.

Yeah, The 320 is nice, but I tonr tant to have to buy a radbox.......
Dual 120s can cool any CPU easily, so by logic, the MCR220 should have no trouble... in fact less because there's less pressure drop.
