How can I tell if this is a G0 Q6600?

You can't...the only way to guarantee is go a a website or dealer that states G0 stepping, good price though!

Ncix Canada, They sold out there B3 supply and i believe all there incoming chips from intel are now G0.

Is this true?

Nope, still the odd B3 coming through. probably 95% G0, 5% B3. I ordered one after it was claimed the ran out, got a B3, pack daate months after G0's started shipping.

They are all G0s there, that place is right by me. I go there all the time. As a matter of fact I think I was the orginal person to post that on the internet.

I just got a Q6600 from the microcenter over the weekend (hard to ignore the $200 price) and it's a G0 made in Feb '08. I'm pretty sure they're all G0.
