Noticed in a few threads over the past couple-o-days that peeps have mentioned upgrading firmware on their MachII... question is... where the hell from!!?? And what exactly does it fix?
Can't find the original threads I spotted it in now, n' it's been a long day (women and their false warnings... lol!)

I think Chip-Con has it, I grabbed it from somewhere. Let me know where you want it and I can email it to you, no problem.
I remember it was a RAR'd file...18.9 KB. Filename is CHIPCOOL.STE and the size is 63 KB.
Let me know Marci, be glad to help out. Supposedly helps out the USB 2 problems from what I've heard.

Marci, thought was a bit weird, file size wasn't that big. At any rate, just glad you got it & hopefully it addressed any issues you had :)

We had 9 people in the Group Buy with about 4 of these people on Intel and 5 of them AMD. Theres 3 units left and the guy who owns the shop is keeping one and then putting one on disaply and then one is left for sale :)
The funds were wired Monday morning local time and Chipcon emailed the shop yesterday (THursday local) and said it had cleared and units were being shipped out Friday Denmark TIme :)
We are all pretty excited.....sure they wont be bowman modded :D But either way, Im still going to be a very happy prommy owner :toast:
if thats the new firmware i used a few weeks ago, it didnt help the usb problem at all.
