Ok, I'm looking at the Thermalright HR-05 IFX for the Northbridge, but I won't be able to use one for the Southbridge. It would cover access to a pci port that I would need.

I was thinking of useing one of these.

Enzotech (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=22611) One-Piece Forged Round Copper Northbridge Heatsink - Rev A

Does anybody have one of these? Recomendations? I want one that has the ability to use a fan, if needed. But I would likely leave it without.

Thanks for your help.

That's pretty tall. Why don't you get the low profile Enzotech SB + fan from Petras?

Well it really doesn't matter how tall it is. At least on a striker extreme. Plus the Enzo shorty with fan HAS to have the fan. This one I might not need it, but it's there if I do.

Since you run SLI, I assume you have the 570i SB or something like that, whatever. Those things do get toasty - but my point is, why are you getting a NB cooler like the enzotech that is tall, but then you say a thermalright will interfere with your cards?

The HR-05 will fit just fine on the NB.

The Enzotech goes straight up, the HR-05 goes WAY up, but is wide as well, Or long, however you think.

If I put it sideways inbetween the Vid cards, then the very end of the HR-05 will cover the top of the pci slot.
