just wondering what you guys use.. im using the sinks with the cheap sticky tape that came with my chaintech ti4600...
should i buy some arcticsilver alumina epoxy or is it safe enough to go with regular as2 epoxy on the new bga ram?

Double stided Frag tape, or i simply smear a blob of thermal paste (NOT AS) and attach them that way.

ehhh.. I wouldn't recommend ds tape. I had an incedent with using tape on my north bridge and it falling off and trying to eat a hole in my vid card.

acrtic alumina,
its not quite as good as ASIII,
but its cheaper, and more importantly, you are not risking of frying the damn thing.
I wouldn't use the arctic silver adhesive...if you get any on the traces of the ram chips, it will short it out. I use arctic alumina thermal epoxy w/ some arctic alumina mixed in.....if you use straight epoxy, don't expect to get the sinks off ever again ;)

i dont no about attatching it to the vid card but i dont like that tape stuff....its not that good for transfering heat and it doesnt stay in place....i had to revert back to the old heat sink for my northbridge....and for my sweet vid card fan i put it on with arc ic alumina, the tape wouldnt even hold it on decently...
and hi everyone this is my first post....im glad to have found this forum...looks like a lot of good stuff here!

mixed AS adhesive with ASIII.
if needed, you can take them off again :)
works fine here.
these are the bastards I put on the mem.

didn't change alot, could do 740, now 745.
750 mhz = lockup.
my first leadtek did 750 without heatsinks, only alpha 6035 on core.
