Hi, I am looking for a 12v fan controller. I am going to use the sunbeam 6 fan block that 1 - 12v power supply connector plugs into plus 6 - 12v fans..
I have been looking at all the fan controlers for PC and none will be able to handle the wattage/amps that 6 fans will draw at full load. Plus be able to adjust them down to almost off, or even off.

I figure I will cut the 12v line going to the sunbeam block and wire in the fan controller. I actually need 3 of them since my box has 3 - 6 fan zones that I want 1 controller for each zone.

SO can anyone point me to a beefy rheostat or even better fan controller that will allow me to control the fans without smoking.

Also I might even want to use a controller to adjust the power going to my 2 swiftech' 655's, since it's only one cpu loop for each pump, io should be able to slow it down and still get some good temps.

any help will be appriciated. I'm noty scared to mod so a stand alone controller is fine but a multi that will handle that current would be the bomb.

thanks in advance for any help....

Depends on the fan you're using. I know some Yates only draw 5w, so you can get 3 fans safely on one channel of a rheobus like the Sunbeam.

Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme, 6 channels 30W each.
I'm not aware of any other controller with that many channels that supports that high wattage, or at least not for the same price.
