I have gone through so many headsets it is driving me mad. I last used Turtle beach X-52 with their external amp and they were 5.1 and they sounded good and nice and loud but the construction is shoddy and they kept breaking.

I am looking for 5.1 headset that get nice and loud, circumaural, closed back and have an adjustable boom mic.

Any pointers would be excellent

What card are you using? CMSS 3D works better than 5.1 that are not made by NASA LOL!

They'll not win any Audiophile Contests but they work pretty good for Gaming if you have the right card.

I say grab a nice pair of stereo headphones, that will work fantastic for games and movies alike. Just my opinion.
