View Full Version : Best MOBO for OCing

Hey, I have a MSI K7N2 adn i cant get my 2500+ past 2.2Ghz. I heard that this mobo sucked for OCing so I want to upgrade to the best overclockable motherboard. This are in my consideration:
*Abit NF7-M nForce2, Serial ATA Motherboard
*Asus A7N8X nForce2 Deluxe Motherboard
What do you guys think? Thanks

nf7-s does the highest fsb... but their crappy bios plauges MANY

the 8rda+ is a great board, and with mods, it can do just about the same

I think most peeps around here will agree that the NF7-S is king of the hill.

I've had both the Asus and the Abit, both are great mb's but the NF7-S seems to OC better out of the box.

You might think about the 8RDA+ also. People have been getting the 2.0 from Newegg. Allows vdd up to 2v out of the box. I'll let you know how my new one does on Friday. $79 at Newegg.

79+ 5 bucks for their extra warranty, you CANNOT go wrong there!!

The 8rda+ have adjustable vdd too? I thought it was just the 8rda3+ and 8rga+ that had them...

the rev2.0's and greater do, but that doesn't stop us from a vdd mod right?? ;)
