Also is it 3.1v or 3.2v maximum vdimm? Is the bios the same as the IC7-G where its limied to 255fsb or does it have a different one? Id get this board but not if its still got this problem....

Isnt any diffrence between my volt modded ic7 and the max 3 if thats what you ment. The max voltage in my bios is 3.1, in windows its about 3.2 for me. And yea it still has that problem, thats just a bios bug, but i heard that they came out with a new one and it should be official in a week or so. but i havnt tried it out myself. no time latly.

MAX3 is prolly better IMO, and the 1.7 BIOS should be released at the end of the week, however hipro5 already has the beta version i have heard and it seems to work really well. 1:1 has been reported to have been up to 280 without any troubles. So far i have seen any problems with it either.

Yer the IS7 is a pretty good board that has lasted me a few months with no problems whatsoever :)
Ill be getting the MAX3 on Friday so ill be able to compare them then...:)
Also KennethChong, isnt the bios allowable up to 3.2? Chainbolt has posted screenies on OCAU and it has 3.2 in his bios but he says it undervolts to about 3.12 or so iirc :)

not on mine, maybe because im using an older bios, hardly been in this week so i havnt had time to update everything. But right now the bios goes up to 3.1 with 3.2 in windows.
