9800GX2 Benchmarks

First runs...

3dMark06 - 17,765

Crysis @ 1920 x 1080 - No AA - All High - 45.57 Avg. FPS

In Crysis this is a 60% increase at those settings coming from a 8800GTX @ 640/1600/2100

Well overclocked @ 700/1800/2200 here are my results:

I have found out that the 9800GX2, drivers, crysis are not working together. After some research, other people are having the same issue. Hopefully some new drivers will fix it. As right now at 1280 x 1024, high settings, 2AA - I only get 20 FPS Avg.

But the good news is - scores are alot better. 3DMark doesnt show as good as an increase as the games do...

3dMark06 - 18,175

Crysis - 1920 x 1080 - High Settings - No AA - 52.50 - Over 80% faster than my overclocked 8800GTX

Crysis - 1280 x 1024 - High Settings - No AA - 72.16

Crysis - 1280 x 1024 - Very High Settings - No AA - 44.91

Well the last overclock didnt prove much advantage, some loss in Crysis.

Seems the CPU is holding it back pretty good. I wish the Q9450 would come out soon!!!

OC'd the CPU to 4200 from 4050.
Went back to the 700/1800/2200 GPU clocks...

quads don't do much for games man

plus they will operate at lower clocks due to multies they come with

stick to dual cores
that extra FSB and MHz will compensate for lack of those two cores no worries at all

Which OS? Your score would beat mine if it wasn't for the processor score. And my card is clocked higher...I think there is a bug though.
