Charity LAN Events

Hey guys, I noticed that there are no recent posts here. Are there any current or upcoming events you know of?

Just FYI, a have a buddy that runs a periodic LAN in metro Atlanta and donates it all to the American Cancer Society. His mother is a cancer survivor so he has a very personal interest in a great cause.

Yes, I did and thank you very much. In addition to being fun, there are so many ways gaming can bring people together and help out someone that needs it or to help a charitable organization. I'm sure you guys have seen it but putting together a large LAN and running one several times a year is HARD work.

There is an event here in metro Atlanta that is aiming for 500 people. IIRC it's in August. But, I don't think there is a charity aspect. Anyone here close enough to attend any metro Atlanta events or do you know of any coming up in this area?

I had no clue there was anything like this in Atlanta! Do you know the name of the event?
