View Full Version : 4PCA3+ NB + 60x25mm 7000rpm 40cfm [pics]

I had a 60x25mm Sunon 7000rpm 40cfm fan lying around and decided to see if it would be of any use as a NB fan :) What I found was the 60x60mm size was just right for the 4 motherboard hooks to pass some wires through to hold down the fan :D

Current room temp = 26-26.6C

retesting to see if the fan helps heh ... does keep my system temps only with 2-3C of room temps though at full load oc'd

i don't think it' that kind effective, due your fan has a big blindspot in the middle. that is only a bit smaller than the nb hs.so you're just cooling the hs around the blind spot.

but afterall it's better tan no fan :D, always gain some performance withe a fan on th nb hs even it's just 1 CFM :p:
