hey, i got myself a dominator ram cooler, and i also purchased some minikaze fans along with it.
Now i wanted to somehow wire the 3 mini kaze fans together to end up to a 4 pin molex connector. but seeing as my electrical knowledge is limited, i would like to see if someone can sorta guide me through it.

Cut all three connectors off the fans, strip down the wire, so about a cm or 2 of bare metal wire is showing, grab all three of the red wires together, twist them together with the red wire from a molex connector, and some heatshrink, do the same for the black wire and yours done, its easy

but if i connect them all together wont that affect the voltages and the speed at which they spin?
sry if my questions are stupid :D

i'm pretty sure that the voltage won't change. the amps available to each fan will be 1/3 but that doesn't matter because there will still be more than enough amps available for each fan. what taylormsj suggested would be parallel wiring. there's another method called series wiring that i believe cuts the voltage to each to 1/3 of original.

Connect them in parallel. If you run them in series you will have a volts drop across each fan ..Not desirable at all..
Your psu will enough vooma for this..

How about 10 fans? Will this effect anything in the long run or? I tested them out and they seem to work but I don't want to burn the wires in the long run or anything...?
