I can't tell exactly how small that is but it sure looks tiny! I think it looks a lot like the "Little Kim" compressor I have seen in a rackmount server.

lol@ no flexline! That is sweet! that evap looks very funny.

Nice find star, I had to look twice to see what it is. Look how small the allen screws are holding the compressor down!

anyone think tt will actually get any profits or market share from this? If its priced cheap enough, some may buy it for the e-penis value of it, but other than that, any semi-enthusiast would do their homework and even take the ocz cryo over this which seems to have unimpressive build quality due to everything being outsourced

Reminds me of a PC Ice job, all soldered up :P

Sweeeeet, it seems the connections would have been only soldered. Have fun with changing the processor. :D

How do you know its a piece of crap? i bet its quite efficient for its size. Sure you won't get great temps, but that things gotta be 3"!!!

just becuase it is small means nothing, it moves up to 400 watts according to the specs. When I have money to spend on my self I'll be geting a couple of these compressors!

Do you have the datasheet for it? I'm very curious.
Depending on what it could do, it could be interesting to make a solar powered refrigerator using one of those compressors (appears to run on 12v through a small inverter). Or maybe a personal A/C unit...

Nope 110V-115V standered AC rotory compressor, I think I'll be doing that by building a matched inverter.

Hmmm 30-400V @ 60Hz, I've seen 12 volt fridges do this befor, they use a 30V 60Hz AC compressor with a small 2 transister inverter to drive it from 12V DC.

I don't see a run or start cap, so it is most likely an inverter drive compressor.
The yellow and black wires also look like 12v.

How did you find out the part number?

This is definatly NOIT the Xb357. I have one of them @ home, and it is way bigger than the TT one.
I'll make a photo next time I'm in my workplace.

I wonder how fast you can switch the cpu on the mobo?
You'll have to take out the whole phase-change setup...:D
