Part of the ongoing Mithril build, I've decided to make my own DDC tops... This is the first one. This was a puddle of goop this morning, but now...

Note, I cast my own raw material, machine it myself using a Dremel Drill press station I made into a manual mill and a corded drill with no torque adjustments.

I had fun, I'mma go bandage my finger I ran the mill across...

That's awesome!

I'd be interested in what you're using and how you cast that also. It may come in handy for some experimental stuff!

Castin' craft resin, dye and developer. It's a semi-flexible (if mixed properly) polyvinyl chloride, though the developer is nasty stuff-methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, good for swift flesh eating.

I tried red dye, that's what came out. The dye is blood red, but it separated out or something...
