We are glad that you chose our team to join. We might be a little crazy (some more than others, but I won't mention any names...Dave), but we have a real good time and it is all in fun that we joke with each other.

sounds like I'll fit right in :)

Sounds like it..
Now to truly fit in you must meet these requirements:
1) House temp must be at least 74F in the dead of winter with all central heating shut off..Stoves and fireplaces included.
2) Must have received at least once in the past six months a letter from your electrical company suggesting you consider installing your own substation.
3) Must have at least one bottle of xanax in the medicine cabinet for those panic attacks that take place on the week leading up to the delivery of your electric bill.
4) Must have expended at least 12 hours on the internet searching for alternative ways of generating electricity.
( I think I've spent at least 100 hours doing just this.)
5) Must have heard at least THREE times from visitors: "I've never seen this many computers in one place before!"
6) When you submit on line benchmarks you hear back from the developer asking what Supercomputer you've managed to hack into.
7) Laugh at and see the relevance of this list.

Thanks (DOH)
This maybe a silly question but, i was just looking at downloading seti@home and noticed it a BOINC client to, does that mean i can intergrate it into the WCG app? Or will it just be a seperate app?
Thanks for your help and the warm welcome

I found the answer to my first question
I can finally see how much work i've done - 133.95 since about 2pm yesterday, but the other 2 PC's weren't added till around 6pm ish?
Work Done 133.95
Avg 70.27
Does that sound ok?

Because of the validation process you won't get a good idea of average points per day for about a week. Validation of a work unit usually takes at least a day or two, sometimes longer.

Don't worry about it, you'll be doing more than enough work. =]
