So as I await the arrival of my M3A32-MVP and 6400+ I was looking for a good heatsink to keep it cool.

I was able to pick up a Tuniq Tower 120 for $30, figured I will throw a better fan in it.

But didn't know if it would be a better purchase to pick up a

Zalman 9700
Thermalright Ultra Extreme
Thermalright IFX

I am going to get a new case for this system in a month, but for now to save money it will be mounted in my PC60.

Based on my own experience, I think the TRUE would be the best overall, although there are some who prefer the big guy, the IFX-14. The IFX-14 has a better mounting system than the TRUE, even though the AMD bracket supplied with the TRUE is solid and doesn't swivel like the Intel 775 bracket. I previously used a Zalman 9700, and for me, the load temps are about 10 degrees lower with the TRUE.
What case do you plan on getting? Some of these heatsinks come pretty close to the side of the case so you will want to be sure it's compatible, although most mid and full size cases clear the TRUE.

+1 TRUE. IFX-14 isn't worth it for the hassles with size and availability.

I'd also go TRUE. The best heatsink currently on the market.

Can't go wrong with the TRUE. But even if you don't go with it, the Tuniq is still a good heatsink. I would wait until you get the system to see if you are happy with the temps or not.

I just got a 6400+ and I'm keeping it at 25C idle 35c full load for hours with

.. sure it's no where close to the best but it's working for me atm with no overclocking done.

Those aren't bad heatsinks. My friend's 6000+ 2.6 Ghz 1.25 Vcore runs at 57-ish load on stock cooler, but that's without knowing ambients. It was a little warm in his room that day.

There won't be big difference between TRUE and the tuniq..... I'd personally go with some scythe coolers like Ninja Copper, Zipang or Andy Samurai Master.... but changing the cooler when you already have tuniq is useless I would say
