This is somewhat under an overhang, has been shoveled many times already, and there is still enough for the door to push around.

I would love snow like that.
Mind you, if it started snowing down here in Newcastle, Australia (which is pretty much right at sea level, btw), I'd be pretty damn worried :p: That would be one hell of a nuclear winter or global cooling.

Hasn't snowed in Chicago for much recently but we still have some on the ground. BTW Sparky, those are some nice pictures for a cell phone, what phone is it?

LG VX8300. Does pretty well outdoors. Indoors and lower light it gets really grainy, is susceptible to glare, and looses a lot of detail (like I can't take pics of a CPU and expect to read the markings, I'd probably have to go outside to do that.

Originally being from the Carolina's, I can't stand Ohio weather:shakes:
The average low doesn't get above freezing until the fourth month of the year:down:

Nice :)
I don't mind the cold or snow that much, it's just the wind that goes along with it here that I can't stand. The Red River Valley, which Fargo is in, is completely flat, so the wind goes straight through here with nothing to stop it.
The last couple of weeks here have been up and down a little bit, but things are definitely warming up. We got a couple of inches of snow last night, but it's supposed to be 20-30 degrees this week. I'm just hoping the snow will melt soon, since this in between weather is driving me nuts. The snow is keeping me from going disc golfing(frolf or whatever you want to call it) :D

Cold in one - warm in the other...
We used to have 2-4 month winters in Estonia, now if were lucky we get maximum of 2-3 weeks of cold weather with snow. And that sucks by the way :(
Max cold we had this year was like -10C.
Is that a big amount of snow???lmao :) Here in bulgaria the snow is usual 200mm++ and in mountains more than 600mm

But yes in this area of the US 13" is a lot of snow. We normally get like 4 max at a time. But what makes it a "blizzard" is the wind over 30mph to make it drift over and make a mess.

To all you folks saying "boo it never snows here" and what not...
I love the snow myself. After a sweltering summer here I am dying for it to get cold and snow. But after 6 months and like 30 large accumulations you'd be more than over it too.
