Thanks to Systemviper for sending it across, now just got to find a board to take my old X3210 again! Awesome chip, this!

Yea, that was a sealed box and I was wondering if I should check the batch to see if it was a good vintage. I can't wait to see you crank that quad up.

Yeap, that's under a Scythe Infinity with pretty poor Thermal Paste, so I'm pretty happy with that. I rekon my board is going to give me issues when cranking it hard, I couldn't stabilise 3.6GHz @ 1.50v, so I dropped to 3.42GHz @ 1.50v and it seems fine so far.
I'll leave it a while at these speeds to make sure she's stable, then steadily push her harder :D

i'm jelous i can get my quad over 2.7 ghz my board has vdroop issue boots fine right up to the login where windows starts to use more than one core and then boom the whole thing shuts down
*hopes someone sends me a nice dfi lt x38 t2r* :D

If you ever come to sell your Infinity 975x, then I would probably be interested in buying it :)
