Fan Help...

So I got all my fans in today and want to wire them. I figured I would wire three of them onto a 3pin connector and then to each channel on my controller... problem is these wires arent very freakin long. Maybe if I was using a shoe box as a case I wouldnt have a problem with length but... lol. So what is my best option to add length? Extension cable possibly or buy wire from Home Depot, but not sure what gauge?

extension cables are your best bet, didn't your controller come with some?

Well it didnt come in yet. But looking at the picture here I cant quite tell what the length is and figured it best to be safe then sorry and figure out last second that Im gonna have an issue...

I have the black one on my shelf right now.

comes with
2 cables @60cm for 3pin fans
2 cables @~40cm? for 3 pin fans
2 cables @30cm for molex fans

unless you have a mammoth case those lengths should be ok.
You may need extension cables if you have more than 2 molex fans though.

Well I have 11 Yate Loon D12SM's and my goal is to wire 3 fans for each radiator together (2 PA120.3's) and then have them on channel 1 and channel 2 and then 3 more wired together that are on the back of the case going to channel 3 and then 2 wired together on the front of case going to channel 4. The case is the Lian Li 343B

You said you had one on your shelf... what are there lengths if ya dont mind me asking?

its in my post, I only measured the longest cable which was 60cm, the shortest was half that so that is 30cm, and the other one was somewhere inbetween. 2 of each.

I'm also needing to fit more than 1 fan per channel, I think around 9 fans.
I can get a splitter cable which allows for 2 3pin fans on 1 cable, but I'm in UK, I'm sure there are stores in US that sell such a thing.

I was thinking of using a splitter at first but would rather solder them together and have a cleaner look. You dont mean to have 9 fans on a channel do you ?

no no 9 spread over all 6 channels :)

I'm using spiral wrap for the cables and my case has cable management, I'll get some pics of what I have right now.
