Razerblueprints has the scoop --> http://razerblueprints.net/index.php/Reports/Razer-Salmosa-preview.html

"Main" features:

* Uses the same 1800dpi Razer 3G optical sensor as the DeathAdder
* 1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time
* dpi and polling rate settings can be directly adjusted via toggle switches on the bottom of the mouse
* 3 buttons
* ambidextrous design
* size 115mm x 63mm x 37mm
* weight excluding cable ~52 grams

With that size and weight it comes in at about the same size as the Razer Krait. Light 'n' small(ish). I think it is pretty obvious this is marketed at those that want a top performing gaming mouse ( DeathAdder sensor is very good (http://www.esreality.com/?a=post&id=1300293) ) with nothing you don't absolutely need. No lights of any kind, no extra buttons and with the switches underneath the mouse you don't need drivers either.

I like it. :D

I like the one piece design for buttons, e.g. DeathAdder, G5.

This looks a bit small for my tastes, but I assume that's why they're putting out so many models - for all the range of hands.

If there ever were a mouse especially designed for noobs, this would be it. Just look at those buttons! :rofl: You get a basic and very good engine and a couple of humongous buttons, so you don't miss a shot in the heaT OF THE ACTION. :ROTF:

If it's really cheap it could be a decent mouse though...

... for NOOBS!

I wish it was shaped like a samosa.

My razer krait would care to tell you otherwise in a FPS game :)

bah no thumb buttons. I keep switching b/t my g5 and deathadder. I can't decide which one I like better. The deathadder just feels "weird".

give me a death adder with two side buttons, one for forward one for backwards...
one for reload one for switch
on for grenade, one for RPG...

I like 5 button mice.

Word

5 buttons only for me. FPS are a bit better. and the joys of surfing the net and not moving your mouse to the back button makes likes so much better.

Wow, I think the translation is worse than the original word.

Salmon?. I like razer because they dont go overboard with features but still make functional devices.

Ill still definately take my Razer Lachesis over any other mice ive tried ( currently tried G5,G9,Deathadder,Copperhead ) hands down beats the lot of them with its 4000dpi and 9 customizable buttons. It totally rocks for COD4 and Crysis where you can assign all you weapons and movement to it.

I love my MX 518 SOO much! I actually think this is a mouse my mom or dad would like more than a gamer. Simple three button mouse with large click surfaces. At 30 Euro I don't think it would sell well, maybe 30 US.

Brown food ftw! :D I love the name, I should get it and show it off to my friends and tell them that it's the "samosa" mouse (L is silent :))
