I will try to give a detailed description of what happened so maybe some of you with more knowledge than me could help me out.

I was casually listening to some music on my logitech Z-5500 speakers, low volume. I was getting up from the chair and my knee banged in to my computer fairly hard, after that, the circuit breaker flipped(they're pretty weak) and the power to my entire room was gone. I proceeded to flip the breaker back and went to start up my computer and got nothing.

I was really stumped on what even happened in the first place, and now even more so to what may have happened to my computer. The surge protector is working fine.. The only thing that could even strike me as what happened is i have all my computer components hooked up to one surge protector, this stuff includes

2x20" LCD Monitors
Logitech Z-5500
My computer which includes
-Corsair HX520W PSU
-Asus A8N-SLi
-AMD 4200+ X2
-8800GT 512mb
-X700Pro
-X-fi Xtrememusic
-2xDVD-RW's
-250GB HD

I am guessing the power supply some how has gone bad, hopefully it is the only component that was damaged, it was a quality unit so it should have done it's job. The unit is still under warranty, but it's gonna be a PITA to have to have my comp down for too long.

Any advice to help out my situation would be great thanks!!

Maybe something came loose inside the unit when you bumped it.

Unplug everything from the PSU and "jump" the ATX connector to see if it comes on. If you have a DMM, check voltages.

Couldn't have asked for someone more knowledgeable to come to the rescue. Thanks for the response, tried to jump it with my fans connected and nothing came.

I took it to a local place and they plugged in a new psu and everything came on so it may be something internal but i'm not going to risk voiding the warranty.

Thanks again though.
