Hello

i have a question for the one who could help me out.

i was always a ati user , but now i have buyed a fx5900ultra(asus)

i have got 2 question's :

- what are the best drivers to use ?
- what is the best tool for overclocking and vag setting

i would like to get the max speed out of my card for 3dmarks en gaming etc

the newest drivers are usually pretty good, but sometimes you can find better ones for your system. you just have to try them.

as for overclocking, you can do the coolbits hack and enable an overclocking tool in the Nvidia drivers(as long as you aren't using WHQL certified drivers). otherwise, Powerstrip is pretty good and some folks like Rivatuner.

yes i know the programs , but how could i get the max out of my card , because macci etc score almost 9k , and i 7,5 k with more cpu power ,:rolleyes:

Not sure. All i can say is try it and see what you get. Not evrybody's results are the same.

yess i know , but i would like to know what kind a drivers and tools they use , mabe FUGGER can help me out , because he's using a 5900ultra 2

Just use PowerStrip.

Congrats on buying aruably the best 5900 Ultra!

A recent review OCed that baby FAR.

you need more clocks to get more 3Dmarks ... somehow I doubt you're running the core past 600 and the mem past 1 GHz

i am still using stock cooling , 500 core and 960mem ,

i am trying to get more out of it :mad:
