Cool looking,
but so much raw material spent and probably it all depends on to small contact on the chips and no TIM... tsk, tsk...
surface area for contact= fail.
Interesting that A-Data have deemed a dice/LN2 pot for RAM a sellable idea.

Am I seeing what I'm seeing in the last picture ?
"Tube" for Dry Ice / LN2 cooling ? :D
Im not sure I like this bandwagon of companies releasing built-in/official dice/LN2 pots.....
like watching your dad try to breakdance, or your English teacher in a moshpit

The air-cooling is  : low surface area and wimpy fans. A good 120mm fan on the naked chips would cool better.
The last picture however, makes me drool. Too bad I am a poor student with no money or connections for LN2 or DI.
Maybe I'll follow my plan of stealing the biology lab's 5 ton LN2 tank:p:

Damn does that Sapphire Pure board look cool... too bad not much of it is visible..
Oh, was this supposed to be about the ram? :D
The air-cooling one has an awful implementation...

Thanks! Actually I have been reading XS forums daily for the last 4-5 years. It's just that all this time I have used just laptops, which means no OC. So I didn't make an account until recently, because I didn't really had anything constructive to add to the discussions.
See you all at CEBIT

Maybe that container is to cook some soup or something :P
Subzero cooling on memory doesnt seem to be worth the effort from what I can tell. I still have Shamino's memory phase change unit here, tried it several times on different sets of memory, but I didn't notice any improvement over aircooling. Maybe the memory lives a little longer at high voltages, I dunn.
WHat has already been said: Surface area for the additional heatsinks is a laugh.
But I like the heatspreaders. They might be useless, but at least they look good :)

You can keep hamburger or sausage warm in that cup, or coffee :)

I prefer naked chips + 1x120mm or 2x80mm as ram cooling, don't like tiny fans solutions for mem cooling.
