Definitely going to try it out. Conquest is the best game mode period. I do hope this game uses a good engine though, don't need anymore "dust" like in BF2.

I'd like to hear more about the actual size of this download--looking at it, I assume the low-poly characters and simple cartoon textures will bring this entire game south of 650MB. That, and it should be a core download plus core textures and info, as you don't need to immediately download every weapon, vehicle, map, and music.

I first played 1942 on a Celeron1200, GF2 MX200, and 98SE... ;)

Looks fun! Wish they wouldve gone with realism route though... i suppose they could reuse some code from 1942 though. :)
I like the humor in the video. Home it still feels like battlefield. :)

Hopefully we can see new Gazala and El Alemein and Wake (:)) and I love all the maps. :)

But seriously, if they've made it so the gameplay is oriented toward FUN I could get into it. Not that I haven't had FUN playing 1942 and up, but that's for a thrill. This could be just an amusing time. And with the easy graphics, I'm about to ditch my SLI mobo that I've kept insisting on for "future upgrades". Saves me money two ways !

Seeing the planes strafing the place reminds me of bad memories from BF2 though - the jets were soooo overpowered in that game. Hope they get the balance right this time around.
