Here's an another question about my incoming new system...

Initially I didn't ever think about buying a new DVD+RW, but then, looking at the very low prices and the SATA interface's availability (I like clean cabling), I decided to pick one.

Good news is that Samsung highly appreciated 203 models are available to me for as low as 25 EUR. The question, instead is: which one should I pick between the 203D and the 203P? I think that the 203D is simply an updated version of the well regarded 203B (which I also can buy), so it seems better to me, and then the 203P seems like a 203D plus LightScribe function.

Lightscribe could be funny, but it's surely not on top of my priorities chart, so, assuming that I can buy anything at the exact same price, which one would you suggest for best quality?

Thank you!
Giacomo

I have a Samsung SH-203B, which has served me well for several months. I have no need for LightScribe. Samsung has an excellent firmware update program for their drives, which also helps to keep them current. I vote for the
SH-203B, perhaps you would also save money on this model as well:cool:
