Im building a system now am wondering if its worth springing the extra $15 to go with PC2-8000 ram compared to PC2-6400 ram. Im looking at ReaperX ram btw.
Ill be running a Q6600, 780i motherboard with a 8800 GTS 512mb.
Thanks alot

Well the most common is PC6400, but the extra latency will help if you plan on overclocking. Just make sure your 780i board supports it.

you probably won't get that Q6600 over 400 FSB, so anything over DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) probably isn't necessary. for $15, it wouldn't hurt though. you can always run a divider.
