looks to me that EK uses a finer thread. the hold clip will interchange

too bad, i'm planning to put a fill port on the coolplex is there any other way?

yes. you could get the trusty drill and drill a hole where you want the fill port, then get a bspp 1/4 (the standard g1/4) tap, and tap a thread there. Lastly, you get your faviourite g1/4 barb and screw it on! tadda! easy fill port on res

Don't be so quick to write this idea off. I just tested my Magicool (Alphacool knock off, if I'm not mistaken) with my EK and it does indeed fit. :up:
